This is not a drill! There are only 4 days till Christmas!!!!! Do you have all your shopping done? Are you ready!?!? Cause I just finished this weekend! Bought the final gift over the weekend and wrapped the last box yesterday. I’m done! Now all I have to figure out is what days we are visiting with the different families… which is a task in itself.

I love the holiday season and all but this year I kind of can’t wait till it’s over…  Don’t get me wrong, I love all the festivities and traditions and seeing my family and watching everyone open gifts, but this year has been so hectic! The days just seem to be flying by and I feel like I am running out of time to get everything done. I got a late start to this year and I am feeling it now! I’m just glad I’m finished with everything and I can relax the next couple of days…. Or at least I don’t have to think about Christmas related things…. Because in a week we will be CLOSING ON OUR HOME!!!!!!!

That’s what I’ve been stressing out about the last couple of months and it started trickling into my Christmas spirit! Buying gifts was also a bit harder this year. Usually I am really great at thinking of things to either make or buy people.  Not this year… I only got to do ONE craft!!!! ONE! I usually make something for everyone but I haven’t had the opportunity to this time around. And I had a brain fart all month on any ideas for gifts!

I have next year to redeem myself though! Just think, it will be our first Christmas in the new house and I’ll be totally prepared for the holiday!!! I’ll have things done early and be organized and everything! I swear!…… Aside from my loss grip on reality, I am really excited to have a do-over of this season in our new house! I can’t wait to decorate, and bake, and craft, and start our own traditions! It is going to be so much fun and I am sure it will make me fall back in love with Christmas!

I am also looking forward to the after Christmas shopping! I am hoping to get most of my Christmas decorations and what not on clearance now instead of spending a fortune next year to decorate my new house. Wish me luck! lol

And Happy Holidays to everyone!
